Refund Policy
Refund Policy for Timmit and Timmit Labs digital products
Last updated: 11 March 2026
This Refund Policy applies to digital products sold by Tim Imani Mitchell, trading as Timmit and Timmit Labs, including software licences, app access, paid entitlements, and related digital content.
1. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
2. Immediate digital supply and cancellation rights
When you buy digital content or digital services from us, access may begin immediately after purchase or shortly afterwards.
If you are a consumer and UK consumer law applies, your right to cancel may be affected once digital supply begins, but only where the law allows this and the required consent/acknowledgment has been properly obtained at checkout.
Where required by law, we will seek your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgment that your cancellation right may be lost once supply begins.
3. Refunds for faulty, misdescribed or inaccessible digital products
You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction, or refund where required by applicable law, including if the product:
- is not as described;
- is not of satisfactory quality;
- is not fit for purpose where relevant;
- cannot reasonably be accessed or used due to a fault attributable to us.
4. Discretionary refunds
In addition to your statutory rights, we may choose to offer discretionary refunds in appropriate cases, for example where:
- you purchased the wrong product by obvious mistake;
- there was a duplicate purchase;
- there was a technical issue that could not be resolved within a reasonable time;
- a refund is otherwise fair and reasonable in the circumstances.
Discretionary refunds are provided at our discretion and do not limit your statutory rights.
5. Cases where we may refuse a discretionary refund
We may refuse a discretionary refund request where, for example:
- the request falls outside applicable legal rights and there is no fair discretionary basis to refund;
- the product has been materially used and the issue is not due to a fault attributable to us;
- the problem arose mainly from your device, environment or third-party software;
- the request is abusive, fraudulent or connected to chargeback misuse.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact contact@timmit.dev with:
- the email address used for purchase;
- the order or transaction reference;
- the product name;
- a short explanation of the issue.
We may ask for reasonable additional information to verify the request.
7. Processing refunds
Approved refunds will usually be returned through the original payment method where possible.
Timing may depend on the payment provider or your bank.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe there has been an error, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to relevant licences, entitlements or services where a payment is reversed through chargeback or similar action, subject to your legal rights.
